Prof. Subhash Chandra Parija
Vice Chancellor, SBV

Prof. Subhash Chandra Parija is a Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) expert and has contributed to draft the guidelines on food safety. He is also a WHO expert and has contributed to the global prevalence of food-borne microbial diseases.  He is the recipient of several awards including the Dr. BC Roy National Award – 2003 of the MCI for contribution to the development of Medical Microbiology and Professor BK Aikat Oration Award – 1998 by the Indian Council of Medical Research for diagnosis and epidemiology of parasitic diseases.

He is the Editor-in-Chief of the online journal, Tropical Parasitology, and Internet Journal of Parasitic Diseases, and founder-president of the Indian Academy of Tropical Parasitology (a professional organisation of Medical Parasitologists in India).

He has served as 12th Director and Dean of Research at JIPMER and had authored more than 10 books and 267 papers in many national and international journal.

Prof. AK is a nationally renowned surgeon, surgical gastroenterologist, medical educationist and author. He has published extensively with high impact on practice of surgery and teaching of health professions education.

Prof. A. R. Srinivasan

Prof. A. R. Srinivasan is one of the inventors of a patent “A process for the preparation of intracellular Phenylalanine ammonia-lyase enzyme”. He is also known for his contribution to Carnatic music as Vellore A. R. Srinivasan.
